SYNOPSIS
A bench in Central Park. Two strangers. An encounter that will change everything.
In this bilingual production by Arca Images, Peter is Anglo-American and Jerry is Hispanic— an artistic choice that brings Edward Albee’s classic closer to present-day Miami and transforms the tension between the characters into a clash of social class, language, culture, and identity.
Directed by Carlos Celdrán, The Zoo Story is presented in Spanish and English, with simultaneous English translation for the Spanish dialogue.
