Memento Mori by Sergio Blanco
Arca Images, in collaboration with the Miami Dade County Auditorium and Roxy Theater, proudly presents Sergio Blanco’s “Memento Mori” for its U.S. premiere on October 23rd and 24th at 8:00 PM at the Westchester Cultural Arts Center.
This thought-provoking monologue, performed by Blanco himself, explores the theme of death through a blend of autofiction, personal reflection, and art. Accompanied by visual design from Philippe Koscheleff and photography by Matilde Campodónico, the performance invites audiences to engage with death in a nuanced and beautiful way, celebrating its connection to life rather than merely lamenting it.
Originally commissioned by Sala Beckett, “Memento Mori” premiered in Barcelona in 2019 and has since captivated audiences globally, showcasing Blanco’s unique perspective on the interplay of truth and creativity in storytelling.

Arca Images, en colaboración con el Auditorio del Condado de Miami Dade y el Teatro Roxy, se enorgullece de presentar “Memento Mori” de Sergio Blanco, que tendrá su estreno en EE. UU. el 23 y 24 de octubre a las 8:00 PM en el Centro Cultural de Artes de Westchester.
Este monólogo provocador, interpretado por el propio Blanco, explora el tema de la muerte a través de una mezcla de autoficción, reflexión personal y arte. Acompañado por el diseño visual de Philippe Koscheleff y la fotografía de Matilde Campodónico, la actuación invita al público a involucrarse con la muerte de una manera matizada y hermosa, celebrando su conexión con la vida en lugar de simplemente lamentarla.
